Welcome to Cole Clarke Racing

Cole Clarke Racing was started in 2022 by Andy Clarke after he started racing in 2021. The name of Cole Clarke Racing comes from his son Cole who was born in 2019. The team when possible will race number 19 to mark Coles Birthday. Andy purchsed a simulator for his own development that was delivered a few days before Christmas 2021/22. In the January he went into his first race in the wet and got his first podium when he came second in a sprint race. Since then Andy has gone on to build a sucessful endurace team that has had 3 podiums in 3, 6 and hour races.

On the 5th - 6th August 2023 Cole Clarke Racing took on the British 24 Hours at Teeside. With teams coming from as far away as Washington DC, it was set to be a good race. After a long battle with bad weather conditions the team was able to take to the podium 2nd in class.

Cole Clarke racing has been able to assist drivers in developing in their careers and drivers have gone on to race in Pro Karts and circuit. They have also assisted in helping the 2023 Formula Womens Champion Eliza Serville gain her title. Eliza has now gone on to better her career in circuit racing.

Along side Cole Clarke Racing Andy has been a marshal at Silverstone for 17 years (at the time of writing this) and still travels round the world with the F1 as a marshal. In 2024 Andy will be marshalling at the Austin and Mexico Grand Prix races. Keep an eye out for him at Silverstone as you may still find him there as a marshal when he is not with Cole Clarke Racing.

In 2023 Andy completed a test session at Bushy Park in Barbados and took the opportunity to enquire about edurance racing at the track. He found that there had never been a 24 hour race held in the Caribbean and so set about a proposal to be the first to do so. The inaugral race will be held in October 2026 at Bushy Park in Barbados. This will be a hire class event allowing all to be able to enter. With a vision to bring more than just a race to Barbados Andy is working very closly with Bushy Park to bring together a family event for all to enjoy.

To pull all this together Andy approached the entrepreneur Ed Lau about the project. Ed was very interested in the idea and soon they started working together on the plans for the event. Andy sold part of the company to Ed as part of the deal and they are enjoying a very good working relationship together. Ed has been with the team from the start and has good back ground knoledge of motorsport having previously been a motorbike racer and power boat racer.
