About The Event

Bushy Park is situated in the South-East Parish of St Philip in Barbados, and is an FIA Grade 3 Circuit. With many different track layout options this is a very diverse circuit to race on. The track its self is made of Lime Stone and Corral giving a greasy feel, when coupled with tropical weather and down pours over 24 hours this will be one of the most challenging races in karting. Sat on a 65-acre site and famed for its rally racing and hosting the Race Of Champions in 2014. Many drivers such a Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Tom Kristensen (9 time Le Mans winner), Romain Grosjean, Susie Wolff and many more have all raced on this track. This is also the home track of the F2 driver Zane Maloney who is a Barbadian born driver. Zane has said that he finds European tracks easier to drive having learned to drive in Barbados and learning how to drift around the circuit due to the way the track is made.

The Race

Spread over 3 days with practice sessions, qualifying, the main race and a post-race dinner. With the race taking on a circuit and not a kart track bringing with it a whole new experience for hire kart racing.

Our aim is to make this race one for all the family and we are working hard to bring a new type of event in hire kart racing. We invite all to come and bring your families with you. We will be looking to put on an event at the track and provide options to allow your loved ones and guests to go and enjoy the delights and see Barbados while you race.  If you are not racing in the event or you are already on holiday in Barbados, come down to Bushy Park and be part of the inaugural 24 Hours Of Barbados.
